Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc

The legend of the Riviera: a white villa among the pines, and a seawater pool cut into the rocks above the sea.

Why we selected Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc

At the heart of the hotel stands the white Villa Soleil, built in 1870 and opened by the hotelier Antoine Sella as the Grand Hôtel du Cap. A long garden walk through some nine hectares of pines leads down to the Eden-Roc Pavilion and the seawater pool cut into the rocks, lined with private cabanas.

F. Scott Fitzgerald modelled the hotel of Tender Is the Night on it, and in May it is the Cannes Film Festival's most famous address.

It is the only resort on the French Mediterranean to hold Forbes Five-Star, three MICHELIN Keys and a 2026 place among the World's 50 Best Hotels together.
