Anassa

A resort built like a Byzantine village above Chrysochou Bay, at the edge of the wild Akamas peninsula.

Why we selected Anassa

Anassa, the flagship of Thanos Hotels, opened in 1998 above Chrysochou Bay, near Latchi and Polis on the north-west coast of Cyprus. It is built like a Byzantine village, at the edge of the Akamas, the island's wildest stretch of coast.

Every room has its own balcony or terrace, many suites have their own plunge pools, and the resort keeps its own beach below.

It is the island's finest classic beach resort, a member of The Leading Hotels of the World, included in the MICHELIN Guide's hotel selection for 2026, and named by Condé Nast Traveller among the best hotels in Cyprus.
