TheMediterranean.com is at the start of its journey, and we would rather tell you so ourselves. Our first year will not bring the audience we expect in five. What we build together in these early years is the foundation for everything that follows, over years and over decades.

The Mediterranean has long deserved a single, distinguished address online: one place where the world comes to discover it, devoted only to the finest. TheMediterranean.com is the sea's own name, in its exact form, on .com.

Our attention rests on two worlds that belong together: luxury travel and luxury real estate. We feature only the finest: the most remarkable hotels, the most accomplished developers, the most trusted agencies. The best of the best, or not at all.

One sale covers the year. For example, a 2% commission on a US$5 million villa is US$100,000: twice the first year's fee.

    A welcome from your managing director, your logo, and photographs of your office, showroom, team and finest homes or developments.

  • Your listings, live on your own website

    "View All Our Listings" and "Search our homes" buttons open your own website, where every home is priced and updated by your team. Nothing on our side needs changing when a home is sold.

  • Buyers come to you directly

    Call, WhatsApp, email and website buttons on your page put buyers and sellers in touch with your team directly. We never stand in between.

  • Placement where buyers look

    Featured on the country travel guide, your Territory page and the country real estate guide, beside no more than two other Founding Partners in your category, presented in rotation.

  • In the Season Letter and The Journal

    Founding Partners appear in The Mediterranean Season Letter, sent to our readers through the year, and once a year in an article in The Journal about the firm or its flagship home or development.

  • Always first

    Founding Partners rotate equally among themselves and, together, always stand ahead of every partner admitted after Year 3 and every other advertiser.

A rare position

Three places per Territory, first come after approval

First come, after approval

Each Territory has three places for Founding Partner Agencies and three for Founding Partner Developers, open from the first day. Places are filled in the order complete applications are approved. A place cannot be bought, and there is no waiting list.

Three choices in every Territory

The buyer and the seller decide whom to contact, not TheMediterranean.com.

Founders for as long as you renew

Your title and your Golden Badge stay for as long as you renew each year. Renewal is due at the end of each year, with 15 days' grace; on day 16 without payment, the place and the badge are released.

After Year 3

In Years 1 to 3, an open place goes to a new Founding Partner. After Year 3, no new Founding Partners are made: an open place goes to a partner, who receives a page without the Golden Badge, listed after the Founding Partners.

Chosen, not simply accepted

We may accept or reject any application, to keep the luxury standard of TheMediterranean.com. Every firm on the site reflects on it, and on the Mediterranean.

Personal, and never transferable

A place belongs only to the firm we approve. It cannot be sold, transferred, assigned, shared or passed on, including through a merger, a sale of the business or a change of name, unless we agree in writing. Every change to a partner page is approved by us before it appears.

An invitation to act early

While the places remain open

As TheMediterranean.com grows, and the world comes to know it as the digital gateway to the Mediterranean, the three places in a Territory may already be held. From that day, the names a buyer finds there will be those of your competitors.

The investment

A simple, published schedule

    Joining or renewing, the rate of the current year. Paid in full, once a year, by bank wire.

  • One year at a time

    Renewal is due at the end of each year, with a 15-day grace period.

  • An advertising fee, never a commission

    The fee is flat, paid in advance, and never depends on enquiries, clicks or sales. TheMediterranean.com is an advertising and media platform, not a real estate broker, agent or finder.

  • Written approval comes first

    No wire instructions are given until your application is approved in writing and your signed Terms are returned. Wire instructions come only from [email protected] or from our official WhatsApp, +1-561-543-6625. Before wiring, always confirm by calling us on that number. We never change bank details by message.

A Founding Partner does more than grow a business. It helps to build the Mediterranean's own digital gateway: an address worthy of the region it serves.

A portion of our advertising revenue is returned to TheMediterranean.com, to refine it, enrich it and carry it further each year. A finer gateway draws more travellers, more buyers and more investment to the coast, to the benefit of every partner and of the region's economy as a whole.

Nothing is built until you are a Founding Partner.

We speak

We contact you, usually within 2 to 3 days, to talk about your Territory.

Sign

You sign the Terms and return them to us.

Payment

We send wire instructions by email or WhatsApp, as you prefer. Before wiring, always confirm them by calling +1-561-543-6625.

We build

Once your payment has arrived, we build your page in our house style, from your application and photographs.

Preview

We send you a private preview of your page, for any corrections, before it goes live.

Welcome

Your page is published with your Golden Badge, and buyers begin to come to you directly.

Questions partners ask

Why join now, while TheMediterranean.com is new?

Because the Founding Partner position exists only at the beginning. A place taken today may never be offered again, and the firms who join first are the ones the world meets first as the site grows.

How many Founding Partners are there in each Territory?

Up to three agencies and three developers, first come, after approval. Founding Partners are made only in Years 1 to 3, and remain Founders for as long as they renew each year.

How do buyers and sellers reach us?

Directly. Your page and your Territory page carry call, WhatsApp, email and website buttons that take them straight to your team. We take no commission and never stand in between.

Are partner pages marked as advertising?

Yes. Partner pages are clearly marked as paid. Our editorial lists of hotels, restaurants and services are chosen by our standard alone, and a place on them cannot be bought.

How is payment made?

In full, by bank wire, within 10 days of written approval and your signed Terms. Wire instructions come only from [email protected] or our official WhatsApp, +1-561-543-6625; before wiring, always confirm by calling us on that number. We never change bank details by message.

Do we commit for several years?

No. You commit one year at a time, at the current year's rate, with a 15-day grace period to renew.

Can we hold several Territories?

Yes. A firm may hold several Territories, and both categories, each with its own fee.
