Why we selected Royal Mansour Marrakech

Royal Mansour opened in 2010 inside the medina walls near Bab Doukkala, laid out as a medina within a medina: 53 private riads of up to three storeys, with roof terraces looking to the Atlas. Underground passages let staff reach every riad unseen.

The estate covers about five hectares of gardens, and Le Jardin was designed by the Spanish landscape architect Luis Vallejo. In 2023 Hélène Darroze added La Grande Brasserie.

It holds Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star (2026) and two MICHELIN Keys, and in 2026 it was No. 26 on The World's 50 Best Hotels, named Best Hotel in Africa: the only Moroccan hotel in the top fifty.
