A palazzo of the 1920s becomes Cortina's newest five-star

Published

Cortina d'Ampezzo has a new five-star hotel for the winter. Le Graal Cortina, a member of The Leading Hotels of the World, opens in December 2026 in a palazzo of the 1920s on Via Marconi, in the heart of the town, with views of the Dolomites from every room: a luxury boutique hotel for ski holidays in Italy.

There are 30 rooms, 13 of them suites, with interiors by the Italian designer Achille Salvagni. The restaurant, Le Monsù, is led by the chef Giovanni Guarneri of Ristorante Don Camillo in Ortigia, and there are also Le Cafè and Le Graal Bar.

The spa has an indoor pool, a sauna, a hammam, a plunge pool and cryotherapy, and a private Spa Suite with its own fireplace. Among the five-star hotels of the Alps, it joins Cortina's grand addresses in the season after the Winter Olympics.
