Fouquet's opens in Gstaad on 4 December

Published

Gstaad has a new Parisian name for the winter. On 4 December 2026 Fouquet's Gstaad opens on the Gsteigstrasse, the sixth Fouquet's after Paris, New York, Courchevel, St Barth and Mykonos, and the newest of the luxury hotels of the Swiss Alps, in a building first raised as a flagship of the Ultima group.

There are 33 rooms and suites, among them 11 suites and six apartments of two to four bedrooms, up to the Presidential Suite of 160 square metres, with fireplaces, balconies and contemporary art. Beside the hotel, Le Chalet takes up to 20 guests in nine bedrooms over five floors, with its own cinema, nightclub and spa: a luxury ski chalet with the service of a great house.

Dinner is Japanese, at a seasonal pop-up of Zuma with its bar and heated terrace, and the spa, of more than 800 square metres, has a 15-metre indoor pool, a hammam, indoor and outdoor Jacuzzis, a snow shower and Augustinus Bader treatments. For ski holidays and Europe in winter, it gives Gstaad's grand hotels a new neighbour.
