Anne-Sophie Pic opens at the Fondation Cartier

Published

Among the best restaurants in Paris, a new name arrived this autumn. In September 2026 Anne-Sophie Pic, whose Restaurant Pic in Valence holds three MICHELIN stars, opened Anne-Sophie Pic Paris inside the Fondation Cartier pour l'art contemporain on the Place du Palais-Royal, in the building designed by Jean Nouvel, facing the Louvre.

The cooking follows her philosophy of imprégnation, infusions and aromatic pairings that give each plate its quiet harmonies, created for this setting among the works of the collection. Beside it, Utopic is a bar given to cocktails, with Paz Levinson, the sommelier of the Pic group, among its creators.

It takes the place of La Dame de Pic, her earlier Paris restaurant on the rue du Louvre. For travellers who come to France for its Michelin star restaurants and for one of the great art museums of Europe across the square, there are few addresses in Paris where the two meet so closely.

Where to be, every season

Four letters a year, one for each season: the Mediterranean from spring to autumn, and Beyond the Mediterranean, into the Alps, in winter. The one best hotel to book, and the events worth crossing a sea for.
